Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Sasan Gir & Devalia Park Safari
Arrive in Sasan Gir via Rajkot or Junagadh and check in to your eco-resort. After settling in, visit the Devalia Safari Park (Gir Interpretation Zone) for an afternoon minibus/jeep safari to spot Asiatic lions and native wildlife. Spend a relaxing evening at the resort listening to forest sounds, followed by a delicious traditional Gujarati dinner.
Day 2
Open Jeep Lion Safari & Transfer to Somnath
Wake up early for an open 4x4 Jeep Safari inside Gir National Park. Accompanied by a forest guide, track Asiatic lions, leopards, sambar deer, and diverse bird species. Return to the resort for breakfast, check out, and take a scenic 1.5-hour drive to the coastal town of Somnath. In the evening, visit the grand Somnath Temple on the shore of the Arabian Sea and enjoy the mesmerizing Sound & Light Show.
Day 3
Somnath Sacred Sites, Triveni Sangam & Coastal Stroll
Attend the morning Aarti at Somnath Temple, followed by visits to nearby sacred sites including Bhalka Tirth and Triveni Sangam (the holy confluence of three rivers). Spend the afternoon exploring the vibrant local markets and taking a peaceful stroll along Somnath Beach. Overnight stay in Somnath.
Day 4
Veraval Harbor Visit & Departure
After breakfast, visit the historic fishing port of Veraval or take a final stroll along the promenade. Check out from your hotel and drive back to Rajkot Airport/Railway Station or Junagadh for your departure journey home.
